December 15, 2023 marks 100th Anniversary, to the day, since Johnnie Hoskins organised the very first Speedway race meeting at Maitland Show Ground, in 1923.
This gave birth to one of the most popular sports in Europe & UK, followed by millions of fanatical supporters.
It's yet another uniquely Australian invention, and a gift to the sporting world.
