2006 Bin 5555 Shiraz

Winemaker's Comments

A rich full bodied red wine made in the traditional Hunter style, being deep cherry red in colour with a peppery fruit aroma and complicated with aged oak. The wine has extremely soft tannins and rich spicy flavours. This wine will continue to improve with 8 to 10 years bottle ageing.

2004 Cabernet Merlot

Winemaker's Comments

A full bodied wine being crimson rich red in colour with lifted fruit complicated with oak. The wine has a great intensity of fruit flavour with a soft tannin finish. With bottle ageing the wine will continue to soften and improve.

2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Winemaker's Comments

This Cabernet is ruby to violet in colour with a herbaceous blackcurrant and grassy capsicum aroma, complicated by a hint of smoky oak. The palate is long and full with layers of flavour with an extended silky tannin structure.

2006 Chardonnay

Winemaker's Comments

The fruit flavours of the Chardonnay grape have been complexed by barrel fermentation in new French Oak barriques.  The resulting wine is not only rich in fruit flavours but also complexed with refined oak and yeast characters.  This Chardonnay has an excellent balance of acid and fruit and although ideal for immediate drinking will continue to improve with 2 to 3 years bottle ageing

2007 Semillon

Winemaker's Comments

A traditional Hunter Semillon made in the classic style. The wine having citrus lemon like aromas with a soft full, clean and fresh flavoured palate. With 5 to 7 years bottle maturation the wine will develop into a rich toasty full bodied wine.

2007 Verdelho

Winemaker's Comments

This wine is medium to light straw in colour with a fresh and youthful green tinge. The aroma is brimming with citric lemon and lime essence and hints of herbaceousness. The palate is soft round and full with tropical fruit flavours throughout with a crisp acidic finish.
