2007 Chardonnay

Winemaker's Comments

Made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on the Drayton family Bull Paddock vineyard, planted in 1965.  The wine is light, golden yellow in colour with a slight green tinge.  The aromas are of fig and tropical fruits with obvious and well-integrated French oak and yeast complexity.  The wine has a soft, round palate with layers of flavour and a perfectly structured mouth feel.

2007 Merlot

Winemaker's Comments
Made from 100% Merlot being the third harvest of a newly planted vineyard at the foothills of Mount Bright in Pokolbin. The wine being crimson red in colour with a dark centre. The aroma is nothing less than an explosion of mocha coffee and herbaceous forest floor characters complemented by well integrated American oak. The palate is very consistent with a pleasant and firm tannin structure and a lingering aftertaste.

2006 Semillon

Winemaker's Comments
Made from 100% Semillon grapes from the original Bellevue vineyard first planted during the 1860's. The wine is light straw yellow in colour with a youthful green tinge. It has subtle hints of lemon and lime with lifted aromas of herbaceous lemon grass, complexed with a fine yeasty character. The palate is soft and smooth from front to finish with excellent consistency.

2007 Shiraz

Made from 100% Shiraz grapes carefully selected from our Bellevue vineyards adjacent to the winery. The wine being deep crimson red in colour with a dark centre. The aromas are a montage of white pepper and spicy turmeric notes with subtle American oak and the traditional "leather like" Hunter Valley regional characters. The tannin structure is round and full with consistent flavours and balance from start to finish.

2009 Verdelho

Made from 100% Verdelho grapes carefully selected from our Bellevue vineyards adjacent to the winery. This wine is medium to light straw in colour with a fresh and youthful green tinge. The aroma is brimming with citric lemon and lime essence and hints of herbaceousness. The palate is soft round and full with tropical fruit flavours throughout with a crisp acidic finish.
